Birthday girl

I know it's not my turn, but I thought I'd post a few pictures of Bethany's birthday which we celebrated on Monday because of Daniel's trip. We had a really nice time and most of the Tanzanian girls from school came which was nice for Bethany. We did water balloons which the kids loved, the advantages of having +30 degrees celcius weather in November and lots of space outside to play. Bethany wanted a princess castle cake with ice cream cone turrets. Unfortunately, the ice cream cones that I was sent in the post were smashed to smithereens. Fortunately I discovered someone had a heart cake tin, which she was very happy with. Pink icing and a few flowers and sparkly sprinkles, what more can a girl want?

What a fab CAKE! I want one just like that for my birthday. Hope you had a lovely day Bethany! X Jane.
belated happy birthdays to all the recent cake recipients!! that pink one looks a masterpiece! WELL DONE LIB! an idea when not getting much fellowship- I'm currently enjoying getting an email each day from st andrews bookshop (c/o st. a's chorleywood website) that's quite encouraging...
hope a church that suits you all soon turns up, is it poss to do Sunday school at one and another in eve? or alternate sundays swahili/ english speaking? (the kids might pick up language quicker, and can make friends/ be ice-breakers(!) with all ages (if anyone remembers Les & Francis, an elderly couple c/o CCO church, i used to drop in a lot when Cat & AM were small, which seemed to be mutually enjoyable, albeit different sweets to their normal fare!)
take care,
much love
Caroline & all the groovy morrisons... or was that geeky...?
